The SBU reported in absentia suspicion to three organizers of fake votes in Luhansk region, who helped the enemy legalize the occupation. One of them coordinated the illegal election process in occupied Siverskodonetsk, and now heads the "culture department" there.

The security service reported suspicions in absentia to three more enemy henchmen who were ensuring the holding of a pseudo-referendum and fictitious "Putin elections" in the temporarily occupied territory of the region.

The first defendant is a former Luhansk official who betrayed Ukraine back in 2014. He currently heads a unit in the occupation "Russian Register for the Luhansk People's Republic" and is simultaneously a "member of the election commission" of the invaders with the right to a decisive vote.

The investigation established that in March 2024, the traitor took an active part in organizing the illegal “elections of the President of the Russian Federation.” After simulating the vote count, he signed the final “protocol,” which was later transferred to the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation to falsify the “victory” of the Russian dictator.

Another attacker coordinated the illegal election process in occupied Siverskodonetsk. As a member of the fake "precinct commission No. 385," she prepared voter lists, issued ballots, and compiled voting protocols.

According to the investigation, after the start of the full-scale invasion, the collaborator initially got a job in the local occupation administration in an ordinary position, and now heads the "culture department" there.

The third suspect is the former director of a vocational agricultural lyceum in the village of Aidar, Starobilskyi district.

It is documented that in September 2022, she voluntarily joined the invader's "territorial election commission" and helped organize a pseudo-referendum on the "accession" of Luhansk Region to the Russian Federation.

Based on the collected evidence, all three collaborators are charged with participation in the organization and holding of illegal elections and referendums in the temporarily occupied territory (Part 5, Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The organizer of the anti-constitutional "expression of will" in Starobilshchyna was additionally charged with suspicion under Part 2 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine).

The perpetrators face up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of all property.

The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the Main Directorate of the SBU in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural guidance of the Luhansk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
