Even the forced move from their native Seversko-Donetsk to Dnipro did not stop those for whom music is the calling of the heart.
Among the bright achievements, the piano student Nazarenko Maria stands out - a student of the "Siversko-Donetsk Music School No. 1", who managed to conquer three artistic peaks at once. In the nomination "Piano Solo" (V age category - 18–24 years old) Maria showed brilliant results and received the Diploma of the 1st degree Laureate of the All-Ukrainian distance arts competition "Art O2".
Her talent was also appreciated at the 5th All-Ukrainian two-tour multi-genre festival-competition of arts "Christmas Ukraine", held in Kyiv, where Maria received the Diploma of the First Prize Laureate.
And from February 28 to March 4, 2026, the jury of the two-round international multi-genre distance arts festival-competition in Kyiv unanimously decided to award Maria Nazarenko with the Diploma of the First Prize Laureate, highly praising her performing skills, musicality, and stage culture.
Behind these victories is the inspired work of the teacher of the "Siversko-Donetsk Music School No. 1" - Olga Kibenko, who, together with her student, was also forced to leave her hometown, but was able to continue her creative work in Dnipro at the cultural center of the Seversko-Donetsk community.
Her dedication to the profession, pedagogical wisdom, and love of music were recognized with awards from international and all-Ukrainian competitions — for high professional skills, fruitful selfless work, and significant contribution to the development of culture and creative abilities of the younger generation.
We sincerely congratulate Nazarenko Maria and her teacher Olga Kibenko on their brilliant victories!
We wish you new creative upsurges, inspiration, bright scenes, loud applause, and many more victories that will glorify our school and Ukrainian art.
