"Yesterday, the Russians carried out seven assaults in the Lyman and Slovian directions. They attacked near five settlements. In Luhansk region, the enemy used mortars on eight occasions. He hit twice with automatic grenade launchers. He also hit with barrel artillery installations. The enemy tried to hit the fortifications of our defenders with 22 drones, " said Oleksiy Kharchenko, head of the Luhansk regional military administration.

In the so-called "LPR" the terms for re-registration of vehicles have been extended. License plates issued under Ukrainian law, as well as tins obtained in the "LPR" since 2014, must be replaced with Russian license plates by September 30. In general, the mentioned period ended on December 31, 2025. But there were not as many people willing to do this over the past few years as the occupation authorities expected. Therefore, they had to agree to concessions and add the first six months of extension.

From September 1, grades for behavior in "LPR" schools will become mandatory. During the current academic year, only a few schools from the occupied Luhansk region participated in the pilot project. Soon, all educational institutions will return to the Soviet region. The said grade will be given collegially and will consist of discipline, social activity, and lawful behavior. It will be influenced by children's attendance and activity during propaganda events.
