The goal of the initiative is to preserve personal testimonies, cultural heritage, and local identity of the region by documenting the memories of its residents.
Representatives of the Luhansk region are invited to participate and are ready to share stories about:
- family memory and origin;
- settlements with which life is connected;
- natural features of the region;
- cultural traditions and customs;
- activities of enterprises and crafts;
- community life before the start of a full-scale war;
- experience of forced displacement;
- personal memories related to Luhansk region.
The project involves collecting and recording individual stories, which will become the basis for the formation of an oral history archive and further cultural and artistic initiatives.

The project is implemented by the NGO "Center for Joint Development "Dyeva Hromada" in partnership with the Luhansk Regional Museum of Local Lore, the NGO "Plus-Minus Infinity" and the Starobilsk District State Administration as part of the project "Heritage. Space for Work" with the support of the international charitable foundation "IZOLYATSIA. Platform of Cultural Initiatives" and the "Partnership for a Strong Ukraine" program, which is funded by the governments of Great Britain, Estonia, Canada, Norway, Finland, Switzerland and Sweden.
