The Siverskodonetsk City Military Administration annually supports community residents who suffered as a result of the Chernobyl disaster.

This assistance is necessarily included in the activities of the Comprehensive Target Program of the Siverskodonetsk Urban Territorial Community "Care".

At the request of the head of the NGO "Chernobyl Veterans of Siverskodonetsk", on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster, material assistance was paid to 58 people who participated in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl accident, for a total amount of UAH 290 thousand. Material assistance was also provided to 18 widows of deceased liquidators of the Chernobyl accident for a total amount of UAH 54 thousand.
