I wish you health, dear Ukrainians!
Held the Headquarters. First of all, we talked about NRKs - ground robotic complexes. This is the next big step in the defense of our state, which really affects the situation after the transition to drones has already taken place. It is already impossible to imagine defense without drones and the same goes for NRKs. I want to thank every unit, all our soldiers and commanders, our volunteers, all developers and manufacturers who are engaged in this very thing - the implementation of NRKs. The volumes of production and supply must be increased. The volume has already been contracted for this year, more than twice as much - compared to last year. And this is a level that should definitely be even greater. There is a task for the Minister of Defense of Ukraine and the General Staff - at least 50 thousand NRKs for this year. Everyone must understand: this is the protection of life. Logistics at the front, evacuation of the wounded, combat missions - now the use of NRKs is developing as actively as possible. That's how it should be. The second question is that we are actively looking for ways to provide anti-ballistic missiles and other air defense systems against missiles. The challenges are clear: the war in Iran significantly complicates the supply of anti-missiles. The personal responsibility of both our diplomats and the military command along their lines, and all government officials involved, is to fulfill the promises that partners have already made. Over the past week, we have received three contributions to the PURL program - from three European countries. I want to thank them for that. There should be additional contributions in May, and I am waiting for information from Ukrainian ambassadors on how they are working on this. We are also working on alternatives. In the long term, strategically, Ukraine should have its own anti-ballistic missile system - our own or with those partners, strong partners who are really ready to work and who understand what a challenge this is. Russia is not slowing down its military industry - we are only slowing them down with our Ukrainian long-range sanctions. We are also actively working with partners so that they, too, cut off the supply of components and machines for the production of weapons in Russia by all means. But this task should be strategic - our own anti-ballistics. Ukraine has already achieved a lot, and the weapons that we are producing now, the weapons that really affect the situation on the front, we did not have before. Now we are producing them, and in exactly the volumes that are needed. These are millions of drones for the front, and our long-range drones, and our own artillery, and our own shells that were not previously produced. The result of Ukraine's defense development should be its own range of key weapons and corresponding joint production, joint programs with our partners.
Today, we analyzed in detail the results of the first stages of agreements in the Middle East and the Gulf, as well as in the Caucasus and the European Union. Rustem Umerov reported. Ukrainian security expertise is extremely valuable. The main thing is that it is a mutual benefit for our states - for Ukraine and for our partners. Specific financial obligations to Ukraine, and now - the supply of diesel and our other energy agreements that support Ukraine. The volume on the fuel market, which has been in Ukraine these months despite all the instability in the world, is our specific agreements. I want to thank all partners.
And one more thing.
Ukraine always expresses its gratitude and always remembers well who and how supported us after the start of this war. But it is also important for all partners not to forget that Ukraine is defending not only itself in this war, but especially for Europe. Russia wants our territory so that it can seize the territories of others as well. If it goes well with one state, with one neighbor, then it will be the same with others. Russia went that way: a piece of Moldova, parts of Georgia, the seizure of Crimea, the occupation of Donetsk, the conquest of Belarus. A full-scale war against Ukraine. This can only be stopped with real force and real principledness of all partners. This is what is important - principledness. This applies to America, the G7 countries, and European countries. For there to be real peace in Europe and for Russia to stop, there must be decent conditions for Ukraine, respect for Ukraine. On every significant security aspect: sovereignty, territorial integrity of Ukraine, security guarantees, accession to the European Union and the real restoration of our country after the war. We are working for a decent peace. Thank you to everyone who is with us, who is with Ukraine!
Glory to Ukraine!
