In order to popularize national traditions and cultural heritage, raise citizens' awareness of the symbolism and significance of Ukrainian embroidery, promote respect for the historical and spiritual values of the Ukrainian people and strengthen national identity, and draw attention to the preservation and development of folk art traditions, the National Festival "Code of the Nation" has announced a photo contest for the 20th anniversary of the All-Ukrainian Embroidery Day.
Those interested can submit their own creative photo projects in ten categories:
Embroidery in everyday life,
Embroidery of generations,
Embroidery and Ukraine,
Embroidery and children,
Embroidery of the world,
Embroidery in an image with meaning,
Embroidery as a brand,
Embroidery of a cinematic frame,
Embroidery and street style,
nomination for the most popular photo in embroidery.
Applications are accepted on the website https://ph.kod-natsii.com/ until May 31, and the winners will be announced on June 5 on the festival's social media pages.
As always, absolutely all profits from this event will be donated to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
