About the situation in Luhansk region as of the morning of 06/23/2026

Fuel in the "LPR" is 50-70% more expensive than in the Russian Federation; next of 79 - a high-rise building is being dismantled in Siverskodonetsk; the enemy struck in Luhansk region with 34 drones

"Yesterday, the occupiers fired artillery shells five times on the territory of our region. In four cases, they used automatic grenade launchers. In three cases, they used mortars. 34 UAVs tried to hit the fortifications of the Ukrainian defenders," Oleksiy Kharchenko, head of the regional military administration, informed.

In the Lyman direction, the Russians stormed 20 times near eight settlements.

Residents of the occupied territories of Luhansk Region, who tried to buy gasoline in neighboring regions of the Russian Federation, were unpleasantly surprised by the difference in prices. Yes, fuel is scarce everywhere. But in the Russian Federation they are trying in every way to keep prices down. At the same time, in the so-called "LPR" gasoline, when imported, costs 50-70% more. They do not control prices there - they are happy when there is something to refuel at all.

Another high-rise building will soon disappear in the new districts of Siverskodonetsk. Another of 79 that the Russians are going to dismantle. Like the previous high-rise buildings, this one was seriously damaged by the occupiers during the storming of the city in the spring of 2022. They promised to repair it. They didn’t restore it. Then they decided it was easier to get rid of it.
