In the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, the head of the Luhansk region, Oleksiy Kharchenko, visited the location of units that hold the defense in the East of the country.

In particular, he visited the location of the 18th Slavic Brigade of the NGU.

"We have been supporting the 18th Sloviansk continuously for several years now. You control a strategic section of the front, so we are trying to meet the needs of the unit promptly," emphasized Oleksiy Kharchenko.

The head of the regional military administration handed over vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, and charging stations purchased with subvention funds to the defenders of Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the year, UAH 63.3 million has been allocated from the regional budgets for the needs of the unit.

For the courage shown during the repulsion and containment of Russian armed aggression, and on the occasion of Ukrainian Statehood Day, Oleksiy Kharchenko awarded 10 military units with the "Defender of Luhansk Region" badge of honor.
