Our compatriot, soldier Maksym Gavrylin, a grenade launcher of the 1st mechanized detachment of the 1st mechanized platoon of the 7th mechanized company of the 3rd mechanized battalion, was killed, the Izmail Regional State Administration reported.

Maksym was born in Siverskodonetsk into a family of musicians. From childhood, he was surrounded by art, wrote and played music himself, had a sincere heart and an open character.

Because of the war, Izmail became a temporary refuge for his family. Later, Maxim defended Ukraine from the Russian invasion.

On March 13, 2025, while moving between combat positions in the area of ​​the city of Sudzha, Kursk Region, while performing a combat mission to defend Ukraine, Maksym Gavrylin was killed.

The Siverskodonetsk community and the Izmail district state administration express their sincere condolences to the family, loved ones, friends and brothers of Maksym Gavrylin.

We bow our heads in deep sorrow and boundless gratitude to the Hero who gave his life for Ukraine.

Maxim Gavrylin was buried on July 22 on the Alley of Glory of the New Cemetery in the city of Izmail.
