The hero of the next issue of the SD.UA project "Our People" is Serhiy Pyatnytsia, a former air traffic controller at Luhansk Airport, a pensioner and a public activist from Siverskodonetsk. His hometown returns to him in dreams of Gogol's square, in the smells of spring flowers and the sounds of the sandpiper, who lived outside the window and announced the arrival of summer with his voice.

In the conversation, Serhiy Pyatnytsia recalls his childhood and his parents' dacha, talks about the rented house, which, despite its comfort, never became his own, and about his belief that the people of Siverskodonetsk will meet again in their hometown.
