The works of young artists of the Siverskodonetsk Art School were donated to the rehabilitation center as part of the charitable art campaign "Give the Gift of Emotion. Color after Black."

At the Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center of the National Committee for Sports for the Disabled of Ukraine, with the assistance of the Sambir District State Administration, a charitable donation of paintings took place as part of the "Give Emotion" project, initiated by the Department of Culture of the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations of Italy together with the international project "Bridge of Colors".

The ideological founder and curator of the project is Lyudmila Horbachyk, a native of the Sambir region and head of the Culture Department of the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations of Italy. The project moderator in Ukraine was Natalia Buryak, a volunteer and coordinator of the IVO "Resistance Sambir".

As part of the campaign, paintings by Ukrainian and Italian artists, as well as creative works by children from different regions of Ukraine, were donated to the rehabilitation center.

From now on, the paintings will become part of the space where Ukrainian Defenders undergo treatment and rehabilitation, providing warmth, support, and faith in recovery.

In addition, as part of the event, servicemen undergoing rehabilitation at the institution had the opportunity to choose the artworks that resonated with them the most, as well as to familiarize themselves with the wishes left by the authors of the paintings.

The charity project "Give Emotion" is designed to unite artists around an important mission - to support Ukrainian military personnel undergoing treatment in hospitals and rehabilitation centers through their creativity. Each painting contains a personal appeal to our Defenders - words of gratitude, support, and faith.

The first stage of the project — the "Color after Black" campaign — was launched on February 24, 2026 at the European Parliament Office in Italy as part of the international event "Ukraine and European Defense".

Art has the power to heal, inspire, and give hope. That is why each donated painting is, first and foremost, a sincere symbol of gratitude to the Ukrainian Defenders.
