I wish you health, dear Ukrainians!

Today - with our soldiers who defend our Zaporizhzhia, defend our Donetsk region, our Dnipro region, other very difficult areas of the front. From last year to this time, Ukrainian soldiers have been conducting an important offensive operation in the Oleksandrivka direction - much has been achieved. Today I thanked our DShV for the results. One of the already historic operations that allowed us to prove that Ukrainians know how to achieve their goals and are able to inflict significant losses on the Russians. The Oleksandrivka counteroffensive. All our steps that push back the Russians give more security to the people and more diplomatic opportunities for Ukraine to end this war with dignity. We will continue our active defense.

Together with Mykhailo Drapaty, the General Staff, and Defense Minister Khmara, we determined the order of our further steps. First: our positions in the Donetsk region will be strengthened thanks to two renewed groups. The commanders will be Hero of Ukraine Denys Prokopenko and Hero of Ukraine Andriy Biletsky. Today I awarded Andriy with the Hero's "Golden Star". There was a report by the commander of the DShV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Apostol. Thank you, Oleh, for the significant strength of the DShV and I am proud of every soldier. The second important thing about this day: we talked with the commanders here, in the Zaporizhia direction. There will be more necessary means. This concerns the NRK - decisions are needed to have more production and more purchases. There will also be decisions on a more systematic approach to middle strikes. We agreed with the minister and the Chief of Staff on the necessary personnel decisions. This is important. There was also a security meeting on the situation here, in the city, in Zaporizhia, in the region, on the directions on which Zaporizhia depends, on which our other cities and communities depend. Thank you to everyone who really helps people, who protects Ukraine.

Our work with the American side is ongoing. We are in touch with them – in detail. We are doing everything to bring peace closer, and I thank everyone who helps, everyone who helps us limit Russia's ability to drag out this war. We need peace. We are working to ensure that there are good steps in support.
