The Security Service has collected evidence on three collaborators who hold senior positions in the occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region.
Two of them have been notified of suspicion, and an indictment has already been sent to court for the third defendant.
Among the suspects is a resident of Lutuhyn, who has headed the so-called "Council of the Lutuhyn Municipal District of the LPR" since September 2023.
According to the case materials, in the past she was a functionary of the youth wing of the local branch of the Party of Regions.
After the start of the Russian aggression, the figure collaborated with the enemy and headed the "youth council" under the occupation administration. In this "position", she conducted pro-Russian propaganda campaigns, coordinated the "Immortal Regiment" project, and organized the application of Russian symbols on public infrastructure.
Currently, the collaborator leads a pseudo-deputy corps, organizes the adoption of "decisions" under Russian law, and promotes the forced alienation of community property and infrastructure in favor of Russian subjects.
Another suspect is a former employee of the Luhanskvoda company, who has been cooperating with the occupiers since 2014.
Initially, he held the position of the so-called "First Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing of the LPR", and in early 2024 he was appointed "First Deputy Head of the Administration of the City District of the City of Siverskodonetsk LPR".
In addition, SBU investigators completed a pre-trial investigation into a former deputy of the Krasnolutsk City Council, who heads the occupation "council of the municipal formation of the city of Krasny Luch" created by the aggressor in temporarily occupied Khrustalne. An indictment against him has been sent to court.
All three defendants were charged with collaboration under Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
They face up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
The investigation was conducted by employees of the Main Directorate of the SBU in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural guidance of the Luhansk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
