The government has approved changes to the procedure for implementing the Health Screening 40+ program, which make the participation mechanism even more convenient. The updates will go into effect after the necessary technical improvements to the application and the Action Portal are completed.

Unlinking a birthday

This is what you asked for the most. Previously, you could apply for participation in the program after 30 calendar days from your birthday. After the implementation of the changes, you will not need to wait for a specific date: if a person is already 40 or older, they will be able to apply at a convenient time for them through the Diia application or apply for a service at the TsNAP.

Term of use of funds for Health Screening 40+

After the funds are credited to the special account, the participant will have 2 months to pay for the screening service. If the money is not used, it will automatically return to the state budget.

Important: people who have already received support funds before will be able to use them until the end of June this year.

Health Screening 40+ is a national program for Ukrainians aged 40 and older. It provides basic screenings for early detection and timely management of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and mental health problems.

Since the program began, more than 34,000 Ukrainians aged 40+ have been screened, and more than 340,000 have applied for participation. During this time, more than UAH 588 million in support funds have been paid to people. The screening service is available at about 2,000 healthcare service locations across the country.
