Attention community residents! The charitable organization "Charitable Fund of the Private Educational Institution "International School "Lviv British School" in Lviv" invites children of fallen Defenders of Ukraine; children of persons who went missing under special circumstances during the defense of Ukraine; children of persons with disabilities as a result of the war to participate in the free educational program Supporting Children of Ukrainian Heroes.
The goal of the program is to provide children of Ukrainian Defenders with the opportunity to receive a high-quality modern education in a safe environment completely free of charge.
The training will take place at Lviv British School, a modern international school in the city of Lviv, which combines the State Standard of Education of Ukraine (SSE) with the British Cambridge educational program and modern international teaching methods. Program participants receive:
- completely free education;
- quality food;
- psychological support;
- a modern and safe educational environment;
- participation in sports, creative and scientific clubs;
- development of leadership qualities, critical thinking and entrepreneurial skills;
- individual support during adaptation and training;
- free accommodation in a modern boarding house near the school (if necessary).
Children who will live in the boarding house will be provided with 24-hour support from educators, medical supervision, balanced nutrition, organized leisure, sports and creative activities, as well as modern shelter that meets current safety requirements.
The program is especially relevant for families living in regions of Ukraine that regularly experience missile and drone attacks, in particular in Sumy, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odessa, Kyiv and other regions.
If, due to military service, work, or other life circumstances, parents are unable to move with their child to a safer region, the program makes it possible to provide the child with safe housing, quality education, and comprehensive development.
The project is designed for 100 children from all over Ukraine. New participants are currently being recruited. Participation in the program is carried out on the basis of an agreement concluded with one of the parents or the legal representative of the child. All costs of education and, if necessary, accommodation are fully covered by the patron (sponsor). For families, participation in the program is free of charge and does not involve any financial obligations. The right to participate is confirmed by documents certifying the child's relevant status.
