We invite specialists to become part of a project that helps veterans who have lost their sight adapt and return to active life.
The Ministry of Veterans Affairs invites legal entities and individual entrepreneurs to cooperate in a pilot project to provide adaptation services to veterans who have completely or partially lost their sight.
This is a project in which your knowledge, experience, and expertise can provide support to those who have gone through the war and need to adapt to a new reality.
Services are fully reimbursed from the state budget.

The contract is concluded directly with the Ministry of Veterans Affairs.
Who coordinates the project?
The organizer and coordinator is the Ministry of Veterans Affairs.
Reimbursement of funds is based on an agreement concluded with the Ministry of Veterans Affairs.
Reports are submitted monthly - by the 5th of the following month.
What documents regulate participation?
Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1060 of August 22, 2025 — determines the procedure for implementing the pilot project.

The project involves providing services at three levels:
1️⃣ First level: Provided during a person's stay in a medical facility. Includes:
Initial training in spatial orientation, self-service, and communication using a smartphone.
Counseling on the use of assistive devices (white cane, smartphone).
Psychological assistance (individual and group work, diagnostics, support).
Informing family members about the specifics of care and support.
2️⃣ Second level: Comprehensive approach based on specialized institutions.
Includes:
Introduction to the Braille dot system.
Formation of daily self-care skills (household activities, cooking, hygiene).
Spatial orientation and mobility (with and without a white cane).
Use of assistive technologies and modern information tools.
Psychological assistance and information about opportunities to participate in recreational activities and adaptive sports.
3️⃣ Third level: At the level of the territorial community. Includes:
Additional training and support to practice spatial orientation skills at the place of residence.
Support in the field of employment and job placement.
Organization of leisure activities and provision of administrative, legal and social services.
