Born in the city of Siverskodonetsk. Graduated from Gymnasium No. 13.

From April 2000 to November 2001, he served in military service in the city of Lozov, Kharkiv region.

Holding the rank of sergeant after military service, from February 2002 to August 2018, he worked in the State Emergency Service. In February 2020, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in military unit A0536 as a driver-mechanic.

After the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he participated in the battles near the city of Volnovakha and the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. He was wounded twice. While near the city of Sokologirsk (city of Pervomaisk) in the Luhansk region, on November 2, 2022, he was captured. On December 14, 2022, as a result of the implementation of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, he was released from captivity. While in captivity, he suffered from numerous diseases, but continued his military service.

Since October 2024, according to the conclusion of the Military Medical Council, he was excluded from military registration due to health reasons.

06.12.2024 Alexander Poberokhin died.

Alexander is survived by his father.
