Kyrylo Zibrov, a graduate of Gymnasium No. 11 in the city of Siverskodonetsk, died defending his native land. This was reported on the institution's Facebook page.

Kyrylo is the deputy platoon commander of the special forces police regiment of the special forces police department "Joint Assault Brigade of the National Police of Ukraine "Lyut", police lieutenant.

Graduated from the Luhansk State University of Internal Affairs named after E.O. Didorenko. In 2024, he completed his master's degree at this university. While studying, he worked as a taxi driver and a builder.

I studied gong fu at Gymnasium No. 20.

"He was a good man, studied and worked to help me and my beloved grandmother," says the mother of the deceased Defender, Natalya Nikolaevna.

He died near the city of Toretsk while performing a combat mission.

Kirill is survived by his mother and grandmother.

Buried in the Krasnopil cemetery in Dnipro.

His brother Danil Hieonya wrote about the death of Kyrylo Zibrov on social media, writes "Siverskodonetsk Online" :

“Zimba. Zibrov Kyrylo. A hero returning home on a shield. He defended our land, restrained the Russian invasion in Lysychansk and Sever. Liberated the Kharkiv region in 2023. Kurdyumivka, Mayorske, Bohdanivka, Chasik, Toretsk. It’s easier to say where he hasn’t been. Nominated for state awards “For Personal Bravery”, “For Assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine”, submitted for the Order “For Courage”, which he will probably receive posthumously,” he noted.

By decree of the President of Ukraine, the highest state title - Hero of Ukraine (posthumously) with the Order of the Gold Star - was awarded to Kyrylo Zibrov, a soldier of the Luhansk Assault Regiment of the Lut National Military School of the Armed Forces .
