Instead of incentive payments, the Russian Federation is offering to write off debts to the bank for agreeing to contract service. Loans of up to 10 million rubles will be "forgiven" to a husband or his wife if he signed a contract with the Russian army after May 1, 2026. However, the debt will be written off only if there is already a court decision to collect money or the corresponding enforcement proceedings have been opened. This decision was made by the State Duma of the Russian Federation. Its effect will also extend to the so-called "LPR".
