About the situation in Luhansk region as of the morning of 06/19/2026

During the full-scale invasion, gasoline prices in the "LPR" doubled, the number of household fires increased in Siverskodonetsk due to poor-quality show repairs, and the enemy struck Luhansk Region with 11 drones.

"Last day, on the Lymanskaya sector of the front, the Russians tried to advance near nine settlements. They launched 16 assaults there. On the territory of our region, they used mortars, automatic grenade launchers, and barrel artillery. The enemy's combat missions were carried out by 11 drones," said Oleksiy Kharchenko, head of the Luhansk region.

For about a month now, the Russians have been unable to stabilize fuel supplies to the occupied territories. Because there is not enough gasoline even for residents of the Russian Federation's megacities. The so-called "LPR" is distributed on a residual basis. The deficit is significant. The queues are long. Prices are rising. Six months ago, the invaders were selling gasoline more than 40% cheaper than now. And since the start of the full-scale invasion, prices have doubled. Discontent is growing. Refineries are shutting down. More to come.

Since the occupation in Siverskodonetsk, the number of household fires has increased significantly. And if in winter the invaders could still justify this by careless use of heating appliances, then in other seasons the real reasons for most fires become apparent. Almost all of them occur in high-rise buildings, where the Russians had previously repaired the roofs poorly. Then there is a short circuit in the electrical wiring and, as a result, a fire.
