About the situation in Luhansk region

"The enemy fired on the fortifications of the Ukrainian defenders more than 20 times with cannon and rocket artillery in the past day. The occupiers involved 17 drones in carrying out combat missions. They tried to storm our positions in the Lyman direction 16 times, and in the Siversky direction 13 times. Our soldiers are holding back the enemy there," said Oleksiy Kharchenko, head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.

The occupiers continue to massively recruit children into the ranks of the “Youth Army” – a movement that is among the main mechanisms for militarizing youth. For example, 90 students of the Economic and Legal Lyceum from Luhansk were brought to Sorokyne (formerly Krasnodon) to take an oath invented by Russian propagandists. The enemy forces girls and boys to swear allegiance to war at a young age, voluntarily or forcibly – while studying at school.

In several areas of Khrustalne (formerly Krasny Luch), drinking water has been lacking for over a month. In parts of the city, it has been for over a week. In some neighborhoods, the population is given the opportunity to collect water once every two days. The state of critical infrastructure in the cities of the so-called “LPR” has been indifferent to the Russians for the 12th year.
