I wish you health!
This March, we celebrated the fourth anniversary of the creation of one of our most important state institutions – the one that returns people to Ukraine from captivity and gives us all hope to see our loved ones home. Four years of the Coordination Headquarters’ work – 8,669 of our people have already been returned. Military and civilian. Some of them have been in captivity since the hybrid war – for ten years or more. And this is always good news any day, week or month – when Ukrainians return and when we see that lives have been saved.
I thank everyone who makes this possible. To every one of our soldiers, to every unit that takes prisoners of war and gives them a chance to return to our country. I thank everyone who conducts extremely difficult negotiations to make the exchanges happen. I thank those who take and meet the prisoners, and I thank you for every Ukrainian flag on the way from the border that our returning boys and girls see.
Thank you to those who help adapt after captivity, who heal the body and soul. Help restore justice so that all who mock our people feel that there will be our response to every crime. It is important that each element continues to be strong and effective.
Thank you to intelligence, especially the military intelligence of the GUR of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Thank you to the Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. To the Ombudsman. To the Office team. To all foreign partners who help with mediation. To all journalists, public leaders, human rights activists and simply caring Ukrainians who pay attention to our prisoners of war and to issues of justice.
And, of course, I want to thank every family of Ukrainian soldiers, all our people who are waiting for their loved ones, helping those who are close and need attention to get through this difficult time. Ukraine is strong only because it can unite for the necessary strength. We will continue to work together. Thank you! Thank you to each and every one of you.
Glory to Ukraine!
