Since the beginning of the year, 590 kilometers of our territory have been liberated; the trend is definitely not in the interests of the occupier – President’s address

I wish you health, dear Ukrainians!

We just spoke with our European friends – Britain, France, Germany – E3 format. There may be an update on the readiness of the Americans by the end of the week. And of course, a lot depends on the development of the situation with Iran – America is focused on this. We are doing everything to intensify our diplomacy, to bring the end of the war closer, this is our first priority – obvious. Ukraine always tries to ensure that Europe is in the negotiations, so that the European voice is definitely taken into account. The question is how exactly we will together bring the situation to a peace that will be reliable, that will be worthy. We agreed on a meeting at the level of our NSAs.

I informed Emmanuel, Cyrus, and Friedrich about the situation in Ukraine, in our defense. I am grateful for the high assessment of our positions and the achievements of Ukrainian soldiers. Indeed, Ukrainian positions are stronger now than in previous years. Since the beginning of the year, 590 kilometers of our territory have been liberated and under control. The trend is definitely not in the interests of the occupier, we continue to increase the rates of destruction of Russian personnel - this, together with sanctions of all forms, forces Russia to choose diplomacy. I gave detailed information that our intelligence has about the Russians' plans. Military plans and political plans. We must do everything now to intensify diplomacy. I also expect an answer from the American side - on possible formats and a schedule of meetings.

There was also a report today by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Alexander Syrsky. Our long-range sanctions. We continue to achieve the set goals in Russia, primarily Russian oil refining, their oil export capabilities. This day, there was an application to the refinery in Yaroslavl - seven hundred kilometers from our border. We continue our long-range operations. It is important that the front positions are also strong, in particular, there are good results in key areas. I am grateful to all our DShV, our stormtroopers, grateful to all units that effectively stop Russian stormtroopers. And I also thank everyone who supports our army and the Security Forces.

And today I am here, in our beautiful Rivne region, I want to thank all our communities of three regions. Rivne region, Zhytomyr region, Volyn region. We spoke today with community leaders, including about protecting this northern direction. Given the threats that exist. Yesterday there were communities of Chernihiv and Kyiv regions, today - this part of our state. We will not leave any direction without attention. There were also many social issues, there were many educational issues. And about school transport, and about roads to get to schools, and about the construction of new schools. The government officials heard all this, were online, I expect that they will respond substantively and quickly. I expect specific solutions.

Thank you to everyone who works for our state, to everyone who defends Ukraine, their community, as themselves. An important day. Thank you, Rivne region!

And dear Rivne region, today I was here with our soldiers – I awarded our guys with awards. Wounded soldiers who are recovering right here. One of them – from Mariupol, Maksym – gave me this chevron. With a clear desire that Ukraine return to Mariupol, to return to all its land. And we really, really want it to be so. Thank you, thank you to all our soldiers, our defenders!

Glory to Ukraine!
