The head of the Luhansk region, Oleksiy Kharchenko, met in Kyiv with the newly appointed head of the IOM Representative Office in Ukraine, Robert Turner, and his deputy, Dejan Keserovic.

The main goal is to expand bilateral partnership in various areas, in particular, in providing housing for internally displaced persons, supporting healthcare institutions, and providing social support to the population.

The parties discussed the status of implementation of current joint projects and identified new possible areas of assistance to internally displaced persons from Luhansk region.

"We are grateful for the openness to dialogue, real actions, and willingness to continue to cooperate to overcome new challenges," Oleksiy Kharchenko thanked the partners.
