The head of the Luhansk region met with servicemen from the 125th separate heavy mechanized brigade.

This is a formation of mechanized troops, which is part of the 3rd Army Corps of the Operational Command "East" of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The fighters needed to be provided with drones. The brigade made a specific proposal. The defenders needed to purchase something that had already been tested in combat conditions," Oleksiy Kharchenko emphasized.

The head of the regional military administration noted that almost 30 million hryvnias were allocated to meet the needs of this military unit during April and May.

"These funds were allocated for the purchase of 841 unmanned aerial vehicles "General Chereshnya" of various modifications, including those with a thermal imaging camera. I am sure that these drones will help our Defenders deter the enemy," said Oleksiy Kharchenko.
