There is a lot of international work today. Rustem Umerov has already been to the report after meetings this week with representatives of President Trump. We discussed the main results of the meetings in Geneva, mainly on economic issues and reconstruction. We continue to prepare for the trilateral format, whenever that may be.

Now we see that events in the Middle East and the Gulf region are unfolding very rapidly. Unfortunately, Ukraine knows what is at stake all too well. Although Ukrainians have never threatened Iran, the Iranian regime itself chose to be an accomplice to Putin and supplied him with “Shaheeds”, and not only with the drones themselves, but also with technology. Iran also provided other weapons to Russia. In total, during this time of full-scale war, the Russians used more than 57 thousand “Shaheed” type strike drones against Ukraine – against our people, against our cities, against our energy sector. Other nations have also suffered from terror. So it is fair to give the Iranian people a chance to get rid of the terrorist regime. To get rid of and guarantee security to all nations that have suffered from terror originating from Iran.

Our position is well known, and Ukraine has spoken about it repeatedly, including the day before. It is important to save as many lives as possible. It is important to prevent the war from expanding. It is important that the United States is resolute. And always, when there is American determination, global criminals weaken. The Russians must also understand this. People cannot know the day and hour, but still, there are just answers to every evil, to terror and aggression against neighbors. We expect that in the end, the Middle East region will become more secure and stable. Many changes have already been made for this. Ukraine is ready to help every nation so that there is more security and justice, and fewer terrorist regimes.

Depending on the security circumstances and real diplomatic opportunities, the time and place of the next meeting of our team and the team of the United States of America - a meeting with the Russians - will be determined. Russia must end its aggression against us - against Ukraine, against all of Europe. And security must be guaranteed. I have determined updated directives for the negotiating team and our diplomatic team of Ukraine in general. Peace is needed - real peace and real opportunities for people to live freely, to live in security.

Today, there was also an important meeting here, in Kyiv, with representatives of the Netherlands, a country that is one of the leaders in supporting Ukraine, for our defense. I want to thank the members of the new Dutch government, the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of this country, who arrived virtually immediately on a visit to us, to Ukraine. And that says a lot. I am grateful for that. I informed about the security situation and what our intelligence expects from Russia in the near future. Of course, we discussed the prospects for negotiations. I am grateful for the readiness of the Netherlands to continue to support our state and our people. The priority is air defense. The Netherlands does a lot both within the framework of the PURL program and on a bilateral basis. We will continue such cooperation. At all levels with the Netherlands, with all our partners in Europe, with all partners in the free world, we will continue to build relationships that add protection to life.
