June 22 is the Day of Mourning and Commemoration of the Victims of the War in Ukraine.
And this is eternal pain in the hearts of Ukrainians and millions of ruined lives.
At dawn on June 22, 1941, Nazi Germany launched its first attacks on peaceful cities. Ukraine became the main battleground: we lost over 5 million civilians and 3 million soldiers. The Holocaust, deportations, destruction, and occupation left incurable wounds.
Today, history is repeating itself. Since 2014, and later with the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, Russia has brought the same totalitarian terror to our land. The enemy is once again bombing cities, torturing and killing Ukrainians, brazenly violating all the laws of humanity.
We remember everyone who gave their lives for our future then, and everyone who holds the sky above us now. The fight continues, and we will definitely win.
Eternal memory to the fallen. Honor and respect to the defenders of all times!
Glory to Ukraine!
