A meeting with the heads of the regional departments, held by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko, was dedicated to the synchronization of work in the regions regarding the implementation of the Government's priorities.
Defense capability is among the main issues. Problematic issues were discussed with regional leaders and priority tasks were identified.
"Almost the entire territory of Luhansk Region is occupied. But we are not stopping assistance to the Defense Forces. Our municipal enterprises have been building defense structures in the Donetsk Region for a long time. Support for military units is not decreasing either. At my suggestion, Luhansk Region centralized assistance to the front from local budgets. This accelerated the allocation of funds and strengthened control over expenses. Each request from the brigades is carefully considered by the Transparency and Accountability working group. Based on the results, in the event of a positive decision, the Luhansk Region Defense Council approves the allocation of money. Over the last month alone, we have allocated about 120 million hryvnias to assist the front," emphasized the head of the regional military administration, Oleksiy Kharchenko, following the meeting.
