The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine presented "Obriy" - a digital labor market ecosystem designed to help overcome staff shortages and structural unemployment.
The platform will accompany a person throughout their entire professional journey: from profiling interests and choosing a profession at school to employment, retraining and advanced training. "Obriy" will combine information about education, professions, vacancies and career development, and thanks to digital solutions and artificial intelligence technologies, will help select training programs and jobs according to the needs of citizens and employers.
Special attention was paid to 12.5 million economically inactive Ukrainians, including veterans, internally displaced persons, people with disabilities, youth, parents with children, and citizens aged 50+.
The first services will appear in "Diia" this summer. Among them:
a professional development grant to pay for training, the awarding or confirmation of a qualification;
remote termination of employment relationships for employees whose employers are located in temporarily occupied territories.
It is also planned to launch services for registering the unemployed and assigning unemployment benefits in the near future.
In 2026-2027, the functionality of "Obriye" will gradually expand: electronic employment, intelligent selection of vacancies and educational programs, a register of able-bodied persons, and additional support services for job seekers will be launched.
It is expected that the implementation of "Obriya" will contribute to more effective forecasting of the economy's human resources needs and expand the opportunities for Ukrainians for professional development and employment.
