During a solemn event on the occasion of the 88th anniversary of the Day of the Formation of the Luhansk Region, the Head of the Regional State Administration, Oleksiy Kharchenko, announced the launch of the regional rating "Pride of Luhansk Region 2026".

This initiative was taken by the Regional Council of IDPs under the Luhansk Regional State Administration.
At the suggestion of the public, laureates will be selected in the following nominations:
“Luhansk Region – Leader of the Year” — among public representatives, heads of territorial communities, and heads of military administrations;

"Guardians of Luhansk Region" - among military personnel, representatives of the Defense Forces and veterans, civilians released from captivity, for personal courage while protecting the territorial integrity of Ukraine;

"Charity Mission of Luhansk Region" - to honor philanthropists, representatives of charitable foundations and organizations who direct resources and efforts to support the Luhansk Region, assist its residents and relocated communities.

“Unbreakable Business of Luhansk Region” — among entrepreneurs and relocated enterprises of the region;

"Youth Breakthrough of Luhansk Region" - for active public position and development of youth initiatives;

"Innovation Leader of Luhansk Region" - among scientists for significant scientific achievements;

"Educator of the Year" - for professional excellence and contribution to the development of education;

"Sports Embassy of the Year" - for high sports results under the flag of the region;

"Cultural Diplomacy of the Year" - for creative successes and preservation of cultural heritage;

"Voice of Luhansk Region" - for journalists, bloggers or human rights activists who keep the region on the information agenda;

"The Power of Community" - to celebrate the best initiatives of the public sector and relocated communities;

"Social Mission of Luhansk Region" - to recognize providers of social and medical services, representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), coordinators of shelters and humanitarian initiatives who provide comprehensive support and care for children and vulnerable groups of the population.

Candidate registration will last from June 3 to July 3 of this year.

Five candidates in each nomination who received the largest number of applications for participation in the Rating are selected to participate in the voting.

Information about the results of the selection of candidates will be published on the social networks of the regional state administration within five working days from the moment of completion of registration.
