The resilience of the medical system in the face of a full-scale invasion was discussed during the "Dialogue with Communities"

As part of the "Dialogue with Communities" on the platform of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine, issues of implementing state programs and priority areas for the development of the healthcare system in Ukraine for 2026 were considered.

As noted by the Chairman of the Presidium of the Congress, Viktor Mykyta: the state realizes that strong medicine is a component of national security. Therefore, the key topics were the stability of the medical system in the face of a full-scale invasion, the quality and accessibility of medical services in communities, and qualified assistance to military personnel and veterans.

"The relocated medical facilities of Luhansk region have become an example of mobile medicine of a new format. Tens of thousands of declarations, extremely complex operations, a wide range of diagnostics, spaces for caring for veterans, and modern rehabilitation centers. This is a living system that moves with people, responds to the challenges of war, and turns a crisis into an opportunity," noted Oleksiy Kharchenko, who participated in the event online.

He emphasized that medical institutions in the region have already joined the implementation of key government initiatives in the field of medicine: "Health Screening 40+", the creation of mental health centers, the work of VLK in civilian medical institutions, and others.

Oleksiy Kharchenko noted the effectiveness of the "Dialogue with Communities" as a platform where you can get answers to pressing questions firsthand.
