Support for veterans, IDPs, and children from Luhansk region – Oleksiy Kharchenko identified the prospects for the development of these areas with the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Ukraine

Today, September 22, the Head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, Oleksiy Kharchenko, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Ukraine, Ms. Inga Stanitė-Tolochkienė.

The Honorary Consul of Lithuania in the Luhansk region, Robertas Gabulas, also participated in the discussion.

Together they considered the prospects for developing cooperation in the fields of healthcare, education, and culture.

They discussed issues of supporting veterans and internally displaced persons, as well as opportunities for organizing children's recreation and cooperation between educational institutions.

Special attention is paid to the development of intermunicipal partnerships.

The Head of the Regional State Administration noted that cooperation with Lithuanian partners is important for strengthening the humanitarian dimension of the region's international interaction.

The meeting with representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine was organized within the framework of the work of the Regional Office for International Cooperation of the Luhansk region.
