Thus, the regional Defense Council approved the allocation of another 93.13 million UAH for the needs of military units. In particular, for the purchase of unmanned aerial vehicles, electronic warfare equipment, and special equipment for units of the Defense Forces.
Assistance from the communities of Luhansk region will be received by: 53rd separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh, 60th separate mechanized Ingulets brigade, 63rd separate mechanized Lyman brigade, 111th separate TRO brigade, 33rd separate assault regiment, 18th Slavic brigade of the National Guard, 3rd border detachment named after Hero of Ukraine Colonel Yevheniy Pikus of the State Border Guard Service
It was also noted that new mechanisms to support communities were launched to create and develop war memorial sites, memorial routes, and digital platforms to preserve national memory.
The military administrations of Luhansk region continue to systematically implement social support programs for the population.
Siverskodonetsk Military District made payments in the amount of UAH 647 thousand to 48 servicemen and their family members.
The Kreminsk community sent about UAH 329,000 in assistance to 21 applicants.
At the same time, support for the defenders continues within the framework of programs to support veterans, military personnel, and affected civilians.
Oleksiy Kharchenko also emphasized that significant attention is paid to recording the crimes of the Russian Federation and the damage caused to the Luhansk region as a result of the war. Thus, the State Environmental Inspectorate recorded the large-scale environmental consequences of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, in particular the destruction of more than 5 thousand hectares of forests in the Kreminsk community. Environmental damage is estimated at more than 39 billion UAH.
Separately, the head of the region reported on personnel changes in the regional administration - the appointment of Ivan Bochko as First Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration and the definition of his powers in the areas of interaction with law enforcement agencies, support for the Defense Forces, the economy, and social protection of IDPs.
