March 14 – Ukrainian Volunteer Day.

This is the day of those people who were not military by profession, but at a crucial moment for the country, they voluntarily stood up to defend it. In 2014 and 2022, thousands of Ukrainians left their usual lives: work, business, studies, families, and took up arms to defend Ukraine.

The volunteer movement has become a true phenomenon of Ukrainian society and one of our superpowers. It was volunteers who supported and strengthened the Ukrainian army in difficult times.

Many of them have risked and continue to risk their own lives for the freedom of Ukraine. Many Heroes have already given their lives dearly.

Memory and respect are the least we can thank them for.
