Dear Ukrainians!
Today, first of all, I want to thank our military, our intelligence, and the Security Service of Ukraine for their accuracy. There were new strikes on Russian oil facilities in various regions, in particular in Tyumen. The distance to Ukraine from there is 2 thousand kilometers. Ukrainian drones are reaching - this is exactly what the updated FP, Fire Point drones were. The operation is also ongoing against Russian military production facilities - those that are working to strike against Ukraine. Our operation is also ongoing against Russian logistics. Its results are very tangible. Everything in Russia that is working on a war that should have been ended long ago must feel - feel the impact of Putin's refusal to end the war.
Today I spoke with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Drapaty, about the situation on the front now, especially in the Donetsk region, and about our long-range operations and mid-strikes. We are continuing this pressure: I have scheduled a meeting with the Commander-in-Chief and Defense Minister Khmara regarding this.
Of course, we will also respond to strikes on our ports, on agricultural production. Daily reports from our Sumy region, from other regions of Ukraine about the consequences of Russian strikes on ordinary agricultural enterprises, on bread production. This is all a deliberate Russian tactic to strike meanly. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine must inform all partners and inform representatives of international organizations about the consequences of Russian terror tactics against ports and against the agricultural sector. This was already in the 22nd year, when food security in different parts of the world was under attack due to Russian aggression. In the Middle East, in North Africa, in many other regions of the world. And now, due to the Russian blockade of grain exports from the Black Sea region, there may be another blow, a serious blow to the cost of living in countries such as Egypt, Libya, and many other countries that depend on imports of grain and grain processing products. We are preparing to counter this and we will coordinate as much as possible with all conscientious partners who can help protect normal life from Russia.
We also have thorough intelligence reports on Russian plans for the fall. What is not there – in the Russian plans – is peace. Unfortunately, there is none yet. Putin is preparing the conditions for expanding mobilization. The figures for his losses speak for themselves. In less than seven months of this year, 221 thousand people have joined the ranks of the Russian armed forces. While the losses of the Russians in the same period amounted to almost 225.5 thousand, and of them 131 thousand are killed, almost 93 thousand are wounded, a significant number of wounds are serious, because the Russians have totally poor front-line medicine. Putin is preparing to simply take new Russians to the war. He masks it with other words, masks it with other signals, but he is preparing. It is important that we and our partners can put enough pressure on Russia so that thoughts about stopping this aggression begin to dominate – thoughts about peace, not about additional Russian mobilization. Our long-range operations, our mid-range strikes contribute to this. More and more Russians are noticing Putin's war and losing from it and think that the war should not be dragged out. We see this.
We also see Russia's cooperation with North Korea. Russia wants to receive another 30,000 troops from North Korea: since June, preparations have been underway in the Voronezh region to receive them. North Korea is also preparing to transfer new ballistic missile launchers to Russia. This is a threat not only to Ukraine. Russia is helping North Korea learn war, it is improving their weapons - it is giving them experience in the real use of weapons. All this is a threat to everyone in Asia who is within the range of North Korean missiles. We will counteract it.
And I will also instruct intelligence to pass on to our partners the information we have about Russia's new assistance to the Iranian regime. Since the beginning of July, we have been recording active satellite photography by Russia of the territory of the Gulf countries and American military facilities located there. Later, such images end up in Iran. And at the same time, there is a clear correlation between Russian photography of facilities and strikes by Iranian forces - a correlation both on the eve of the strikes and after the Iranian attacks - to assess the damage caused. On July 19 and 20 alone, four air bases fell into the zone of interest of Russian satellites: two in Bahrain and one each in Jordan and Kuwait. It is clear why. We are all in the world, we must not close our eyes to a very simple fact: evil is always looking for ways to do even worse and spread. Russia must be stopped. The war must be stopped. Pressure on the aggressor must work. Missiles for air defense, primarily for the Patriots, can save thousands and thousands of lives. Each of the partners who can help must know that behind all decisions, behind all pauses in supply are people's lives. And when we can produce PAK-3 in Ukraine, we will help with these missiles those in the world who need protection. And everyone who is now helping Russia to drag out this war must be responsible, including for all the global consequences of this war. And we must act and overcome Russian resistance.
