Dreams come true! 10 out of 17 winners of our housing loan program for IDPs 60+ have already purchased their dream apartments. We talked to some of them and heard a lot of interesting things.

Of course, not everything went as smoothly as we would like. Finding an apartment is not an easy task, even with such help. One of the winners of the draw, Viktor Chaus, spoke about some of the difficulties: "This is very unexpected for us. The program is wonderful, and we are sincerely grateful to our administration for this opportunity. I found a good apartment in Kremenchuk, but the main disadvantage is that there was not enough time to search and purchase it. There are many different nuances, but that's the way it is, we have what we have. Still, I highly recommend my fellow countrymen to apply for such programs. Many thanks from me and my family!"

Galina Pendrakovsky's daughter also shared her thoughts with us. She also talked about various pitfalls: "We faced many problems. First, we had to find this apartment very quickly. Second, it is difficult to find realtors for such programs. Third, we spent a lot of money to cover all the commissions, taxes, and so on." Nevertheless, the Pendrakovskys do not regret the effort they made. Let the new apartment not be perfect, but it is their own, and this is the most important thing. "Despite everything, this is such a unique chance, it's true. We had no hope that we would ever buy anything in our lives, and somehow it turned out like this. Even with those costs for services, it's almost a miracle. Thank you for this opportunity!"

Another lucky woman, Tetyana Botsiun, shared a touching story with us: “I came to Severskodonetsk right after school, studied there, then worked at a factory for 20 years. I raised a child alone. And at one point I lost everything. The war brought us first to Khmelnytskyi, and then we moved to Kharkiv. Because the rent was cheaper here, and my pension was small.”

Tatyana's daughter saw an announcement about the lending program on the website of the Siverskodonetsk administration and decided to take advantage of this opportunity right away. But Tatyana herself at first did not believe that it was possible. "My daughter tells me: 'Mom, let's submit the documents.' And I say that there is no need to go there. I did not believe it. Nothing has ever fallen from the sky for me just like that, everything was obtained through hard work. Well, she submitted the documents anyway, and we forgot about this conversation and these documents. And then it happened that I need to look for housing, because the apartment in which I lived was put up for sale. And I was already on the verge of being left on the street. And then a miracle happened. Really, it is a miracle! At first, I was just so shocked that this could not be and this was some kind of mistake, and something was wrong. I could not believe it! It is clear that it was very difficult to look for housing under this program, because there are maximum prices here, and there was very little time. But we found a good apartment. So miracles do happen. And don't lose hope. Thank you!
