He was born in Siverskodonetsk. He graduated from school there and began his career.

At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, due to the destruction of his home, he and his family moved to the village of Motovylivka, Kyiv region. He worked at various enterprises in the capital.

On June 26, 2025, he was drafted into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a driver of the support group. Faithful to his military oath and his duty, Oleksandr Korzh died on October 26, 2025 in the Dnipropetrovsk region as a result of a strike by an Iskander ballistic missile.

The Hero is survived by his wife Nadiya, mother Kateryna Pavlovna, father Yuriy Ivanovich, and family and friends.

The soldier was buried at the Motovyliv cemetery.
